Build Your First Page
Code: NP-BLO-00006-1
A QuickPage website is built from pages. Each page contains sections, and each section can combine text, images, and widgets. Start with this template and change one section at a time.
1. Choose a page
Open Admin > Section Builder and select Home, About, or another page. The page settings include its title, slug, publication status, and whether it appears in the navigation menu. The slug is part of the page address, so choose a short, descriptive name.
2. Understand the sections
The Page Sections list shows the building blocks in their display order. Open Content to edit a section’s words and images. Open Layout to work on its structure. Use the order controls to move sections up or down.
A useful first page has a clear opening message, a short explanation of what you offer, a few supporting images, and an obvious next step such as visiting the shop or contacting you.
3. Edit one small piece
Choose a section, replace its heading with your own message, and write two or three short sentences. Save the section, then use View Page to check the result. Confirm that the text is readable and the images support the message.
4. Recognize a widget
Widgets display features such as product cards, blog posts, buttons, and newsletter forms. Their content or settings may be managed separately from the surrounding section. The Widgets column helps you see which widget a section uses; Widget Instances opens its preview and settings.
Try it yourself
Change one heading on the Home page and save it. View the page on a wide screen and a phone, then check the navigation and any links you edited. When you are ready, replace the remaining demo content with your own.
